The interplay of colorful light and shadow and the translucency of flowers inspire Jane to capture them in watercolor. Maintaining an extensive flower garden gives her opportunity to photograph and paint under many lighting conditions. With a camera near, Jane’s always ready to capture a special view or scene that intrigues her. Looking for unique beauty in nature, she paints mostly florals and landscapes.
Jane is an active member of the Santa Clara Artist Association and Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society. Her paintings have won awards in these organizations and are displayed periodically with them.
